Numbaroll
live · numbaroll.comHousehold payroll for families with a nanny or caregiver — pay stubs, tax withholding, and year-end forms with every number cited.
What it does
If you pay a nanny, senior caregiver, or other household worker directly, you're a household employer — Schedule H, state withholding, W-2s at year end. Numbaroll runs that payroll: it calculates each pay stub, tracks tax withholding, and generates the year-end forms a family actually needs to file.
The person using this isn't a payroll admin. They're a parent who hired a nanny and now owns a legal obligation they didn't ask for. The product has to work without them becoming an expert in it.
Why it's shaped this way
Federal and state tax logic traces to a source instead of a black-box formula, so if a withholding amount looks wrong, the family can see exactly why it's what it is. The weekly or biweekly pay stub comes first — that's the thing a household actually needs on a recurring basis — and the year-end forms fall out of the same ledger rather than a separate calculation.
One employer, one or two workers. The UI doesn't ask a family of four to think in enterprise-payroll vocabulary.
